CMU200: The one-box solution for enhanced GPRS development
The CMU200 is not just the premier solution for mobile phone production tests, but also an extremely practical development tool, which now also offers a powerful and flexible test solution for GPRS and EGPRS mobile phone developers.
The GPRS option exhibits the following key features:
EGPRS as well as GPRS are supported. Moreover, the CMU200 has powerful multislot capabilities. Theoretically, the CMU200 can generate and test signals for up to 8 uplink and 8 downlink slots simultaneously. This capacity remains for the moment theoretical, as there are no phones which can support more than 4 slots in either direction; typical for the moment is 1 uplink and 4 downlinks; the latest GPRS mobile phones support 2 uplinks with 4 downlinks.
The CMU200 is also outstanding for its extreme signal flexibility. Each signal is independently fully variable, as each slot is handled by separate parameters. The complete transmission is fully configurable.
Another clear benefit is the easy-to-use GUI for signal configuration.
Last but not least, the CMU200 is a high-quality signal generator for robust and reliable test signals. The user can be certain that the signals generated have the required parameters.

Ensures compliance with tolerances specified by GSM. Used for highly demanding frequency
stability requirements to GSM 11.20

CMU-B21 Versatile signalling unit. Provides multistandard signalling hardware
CMU-B41 Audio generator and analyzer. Includes audio frequency (AF) generator, voltmeter,
distortion meter
CMU-B52 Internal versatile multimode speech coder/decoder. This option converts digital
speech signals into analog signals and vice versa. The option allows separate uplink
and downlink audio application measurements on mobile phones.
